Fierce Images began with dancers, but it was never about dance. It was about strength.
The lighting, the posing, the intention behind every image was designed to reveal what athletes carry in their bodies and their spirit. What I saw through my lens was powerful. Not soft. Not polished for show. Real. Fierce.
It didn't take long to realize this style belonged far beyond the studio.
Today, Fierce Images is the foundation of my sports photography, working with athletes across football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and more. The approach is always the same: sculpted lighting, intentional direction, and an experience designed to help every athlete stand taller and see themselves at their absolute best.
Fierce Images was built to do one thing, show athletes as they truly are.

Fierce Images Dance Team
The Fierce Images Dance Team is a creative ambassador program for dancers who want to express themselves through meaningful portraiture, give back to the community, and be part of something truly special. Open to dancers of all ages, levels, and studios throughout Maryland and Virginia, this team is about more than just dance, it’s about confidence, connection, and making a difference.
Team members:
Participate in custom, artistic portrait sessions that reflect their unique personality and movement style
Become part of a supportive, inclusive team that celebrates individuality and creative expression
Take part in community service projects through my nonprofit, ElP Gives Back, supporting local and national nonprofits
Represent Project Beauty, a no-makeup, no-retouch black-and-white photo and video experience focused on highlighting natural beauty and self-love
Serve as Dance Hope Cure ambassadors, helping to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer through events like our annual fashion show fundraiser

Behind the Lens
Erica launched Fierce Images in 2016, inspired by her own children’s love of dance.
Her mission was to capture movement and expression in a way that went beyond traditional recital photos, creating portraits that reflect the passion and individuality of each dancer.
Since then, Fierce Images has expanded to photograph not only dancers, but athletes across sports like football, baseball, and basketball, always with the same focus: strength, dedication, and drive.

Membership spots are limited each year.
The application process includes:
- Completing the online application form
- A review of your experience, goals, and passion for dance
- Invitations sent to selected dancers
