Project Beauty began as a very simple idea.
I wanted to invite teenage girls to sit in front of the camera without makeup, filters, or retouching and talk honestly about what beauty means to them.
So much of what young people see today tells them that beauty is something they need to fix, change, or hide behind filters.
Project Beauty was created to do the opposite.
It was meant to peel back the layers and start real conversations about confidence, identity, and what it means to feel comfortable in your own skin.
The girls who participated shared thoughtful and honest reflections about beauty, friendship, confidence, and the pressure they feel growing up in a world of constant comparison.
What surprised me most was how powerful those conversations were not just for the girls, but for everyone who watched them.
It reminded us that true beauty has very little to do with perfection and everything to do with authenticity.
Over time, Project Beauty grew into something even more meaningful.
I realized that the same conversation we were having with teenage girls is one many women need as well.
That realization led to the next chapter of Project Beauty.
We remove the distractions so nothing gets in the way of who she truly is.
Just like the original Project Beauty, it is not about perfection, it's about truth.
It is about recognizing the strength, wisdom, and confidence that come from a life that has been fully lived.
Project Beauty continues to grow as a space for honest reflection about beauty at different stages of life.
From the teenage years when confidence is still forming, to midlife when women are often rediscovering themselves in new and powerful ways.
At every stage, the message remains the same, you do not need to change to be beautiful.
You simply deserve to be seen.
